Josh and Megan | Central Georgia Wedding Photographer

Megan and Josh are getting married in JUNE at Meadowlark, so they called me up when she saw I was doing some mini sessions there! They will "tie the knot" right infront of the big oak tree in the picture above! We used the time for their engagement shoot! I had SO much fun! While they don't LOVE the traditional posed type pictures, they didn't mind at ALL to be fun and silly for our shoot! I had a great time with you guys... hope you love your preview!

Meadowlark Gardens is an incredible location to have a wedding, reception, or any other type of special event you can think of! This family came over for a mini from Newnan! So fun to meet them. Dad couldn't make it because he was recovering from surgery, but we got some sweet shots of mom, Daisy, and big brother Lance... who is graduating this spring! Hope you enjoy!

Deep Blues

I LOVE how the clothing mom chose make their BLUE eyes pop! These kids are so sweet and for a 3 and 6 year old... they get along just fine!! We did lots of giggling and had lots of fun! Thanks for coming by and seeing me again this year, Mom!

Addison had a black eye right before our first attempt, then rain (of course) ruined our 2nd, and then rain ALMOST ruined this one... but we waited it out and had a GREAT shoot! WHAT a CUTE family! Family

So, I have been trying hard not to tear up TOO many times while editing these pictures and finding words to put with them. I have been "shooting" Emory and Ella Rae's family now for almost 2 years, and whenever I spend time with them, I feel more drawn to their stories and the things they have experienced in the last few years. Maybe it is one mom's heart tugging at the other's... i don't know, but when THIS opportunity came up... i would have dropped everything to make it happen.

Emory's mom called me last week to let me know her mother-in-law had just been diagnosed with cancer... stage 3 lung cancer. She and her family got this shoot together within 48 hours or less... and as I type this, grandmother has already had her first round of chemo. This WHOLE family is moving forward in faith and confidence that their time with their mother/grandmother will not be cut short. You can see in their eyes the pain of this new reality, but you can also see the TRUST of God's sovereignty. They wanted these pictures to celebrate the HOPE that they have and the STRENGTH that the can depend on, not just in their parents, but also in the Lord.
